Moving on...

Yesterday we headed to our next stop, Flagstaff....actually Williams, AZ.  Besides some Grand Canyon sightseeing we'll take a day trip to Sedona.
Sunday, our last day in Albuquerque Dean played golf

Santa Ana Star Golf Course

Santa Ana Star
and I went to the service at the UU church....a congregation of about 800.  The service was about Cinco de Mayo....and the little guys standing up to the big guys....very interesting.  I never knew the history.  They also had music by the Albuquerque Women's Chorus....fabulous!

Albuquerque UU Entrance

The Welcome Desk

The Sanctuary

On the way back to camp I got in a traffic jam and snapped these pics with my phone....the sign said the Rio Grande River....tributary maybe?

On Monday morning we loaded up and headed to Flagstaff....absolutely gorgeous scenery all the way but as I've said before, it's hard to just pull over while schlepping a 38 foot RV......so, the best  I could do was snap pics though the truck window but I think you can get the idea.....

So here we are in Williams, Arizona....campground and town are very nice, but the weather not so much....55 degrees and we are being buffeted by high winds with gusts up to around 50 MPH.....a good day to stay inside and work on some jewelry.  Tomorrow calls for rain....not a good day for sightseeing.  The weather is supposed to clear up later in the week so we've put Grand Canyon and Sedona on the schedule for the weekend.

Namaste
